A new Order & Pay app has been launched by iZettle, the provider of an electronic point of sale (EPOS) system that’s widely-used amongst small UK businesses in hospitality and retail, the company has announced.

The new app will allow customers to pre-order and pay for items for delivery or collection in-store, awarding loyalty points for each purchase made with the app which can be redeemed for rewards.

The Order & Pay app is designed specifically to help smaller independent hospitality businesses, such as coffee shops and cafes, reward their valuable recurring customers whilst offering them greater convenience and flexibility.

Customers who pre-order products through the Order & Pay app will be able to pay for items on their mobile, via their stored bank card or Apple Pay, before arranging to collect them at a time that suits them.

iZettle’s Order & Pay app was created by Intelligentpos, a British technology firm specialising in cloud-based point of sale retail solutions which iZettle acquired last year.
