I’m the managing director of?Outsourcing HR, an HR consultancy that helps businesses succeed by providing practical, cost-effective human resources management and recruitment services. In addition to being an experienced HR professional, I have theinvaluable benefit of a successful track record in general management roles. As a result, I’m focused on ensuring that HR contributes to the bottom line.

Prior to launching Outsourcing HR, I’spent five years as an HR consultant for a leading UK HR service provider. I havealso worked alongside newly appointed directors in the veterinary world to help them get their businesses off the ground and to implement effective HR systems. During this time, Igained valuable insights into the challenges faced by smaller businesses, and learnt how to employ her expertise from the corporate world in a practical, no-nonsense way for the benefit of small businesses and startups.

I believe thatwhile everyone knows that people are their greatest asset, many organisations do not put in the time or invest in the processes necessary to properly nurture this asset. I workwith business leaders to ensure that employees grow and stay with the company, and are committed to fully contributing to the success of the business.

I help businesseswith all aspects of employing people, removing the burden of red tape and bureaucracy from employers? shoulders and allowing them to focus their efforts on growing their business. I haveparticular expertise in the areas of recruitment including psychometric testing, workplace dispute resolution, establishing human resources systems, transfer of undertaking projects and employment law.

Attracting, recruiting and retaining the best talent is essential for a business’s continued long-term success. But talent on its own is not enough. To succeed, the new recruit needs the right attitude and to be a good fit with the culture of the organisation. I always striveto ensure that you recruit talent that is right not only for the role, but also for your organisation.

My outsourced recruitment service focuses on beingcost-effective, convenient and time-saving combining a hands-on professional approach with the efficiency and geographic reach of online recruitment. As a result, you can rely on Outsourcing HR for professional help in designing the job description and advertisement, placing ads, receiving and reviewing CVs, recommending a short list, interview assistance, running assessment centres, sending regrets and carrying out psychometric testing.

Over the coming months, I will’share my insights into getting recruitment right and making it work for you. I’llprovide guidance and advice on current best practice with regard to systems, processes and procedures, including valuable hints and tips for you to take forward.
