Business Advice is proud to unveil our inaugural event Small Business School which will guide more than 200 delegates from some of Britain’s most exciting micro businesses through invaluable advice sessions.
Hosted at the historic Church House in Westminster, weve gone with a back to school? theme and will offer those attending a choice of classes that best fit their business needs.
From finding out how to unleash the power of loans to staff support and engagement, delegates will come away from their day back at school with a business masterclass on some of the key growth issues.
The day will kick off with an exciting keynote address, and then transition to a debate on one of the most divisive topics of recent times the threat of a Brexit. From there Small Business School will move into breakout sessions and delegates will get a masterclass in funding, business development, HR, supply chain management and finally tax and accounting.
Since Business Advice was launched in the summer of 2015 it has served as a guiding light for micro businesses in the UK with fewer than ten staff and turning over less than 1m. Bringing together advice pieces from our panel of respected experts, salient industry news and profiles of very exciting small enterprises, our first event will be an extension of that all as well as providing a fantastic opportunity to network with a peer group tackling the same issues as you are.

The culmination of the day will see the debut of our Small Business School roll of honour, when well recognise a group of exceptional micro businesses. it’s a group well be growing each year and should be great inspiration for aspiring and new entrepreneurs.
Over the coming months before we invite our delegates back to school, well be asking you, our Business Advice readers, to provide some input to direct classes. Through a range of surveys, it will all be about finding out the main pinch points in processes such as creating a business plan and chasing late payments.
