With just one month to go before our inaugural Small Business School on 14 June, Business Advice wants to find out what issue you want to stop losing sleep over.

More than 200 micro business owners employing fewer than ten staff and turning over less than 1m will join us at Westminster’s historic Church House to get a masterclass in funding, business development, HR, supply chain management, tax and accounting.

In order to make sure the classes on offer best fit your business needs, we want to know what the most pressing business challenge you face is so we can tailor our expert advice to help you unlock future growth.

Cash Flow

Lingerie tycoon Caprice Bourret told us back in July 2015 that Cash flow is your bible? when it comes to running a micro business but is getting this right harder than it looks? With late payments an ongoing thorn in the side for many small firm leaders, and new London mayor admitting to losing sleep over the issue when he was running his law firm in the capital, it’s a topic that certainly isnt short of uncertainty. Cast your vote at the bottom of the page.

Finding the right staff

Time and time again, the founders of some of the most exciting young firms in the small business space have pointed to the struggles finding staff with the right skills be they tech competencies or leadership abilities. Do you need advice on how to overcome the challenge and find the best talent? Or perhaps you’re considering offering apprenticeships. Let us know if this is something you want to know more about.

Rules and regulations

With auto-enrolment, health and safety legislation and less regulatory simplification than might have been expected in recent government announcements, British small business owners certainly have their fair share of red tape to deal with. Would you like information on what your legal obligations are and how you can manage them? Then select this option in the poll.

Taxes

As certain as death, but perhaps less predictable, taxes from VAT to employers? NI contribution can be a veritable minefield for small business owners. And with the recent changes to how dividends are treated, you’re certain to have some unanswered questions that are holding back your business. If this is something you’re keen for information on, give it your vote.
